Cheers to the return of our yearly ‘Questions, Confessions & Closure’ series dubbed ‘How Trauma Ruined My Love Life’! This virtual event was hosted on the 12th of March 2021 and moderated by our Global Curator and Founder, Sydney Sam and Amma Aboaguye, the Founding Curator, Afrople. This open and interactive conversation aimed at tackling our past traumas and unpacking how they have impacted our relationships as adults.
This event engaged African professionals, entrepreneurs and creatives on the continent and in the diaspora. It was a hardcore face-up conversation that helped us understand our personal traumas, heal from them and admit the role they play in our adult lives and social relationships. In true OPENSPACE fashion, everything is on the table! Can’t wait to attend next year's series!
